Benj started a career in Chemistry working in the industry and in the academe in 1994 and shifted careers into the IT industry driven by opportunity when he first started a small computer shop in 1997. Through the years, as business became more successful, business directions have changed from computer shop sales and repairs, to web design and development, web hosting and domains and Internet marketing in various mediums including SEO. Late 2004 Benj Arriola moved to San Diego California to work in the web industry and has started concentrating on SEO from then onwards and has been an active member of SEO Philippines, and was once one of the bloggers for the US-Based podcast SEO show The SEO Rockstars. Benj has been participating in several SEO contests landing at least within the top 10 spots in previous contest by SEO Philippines and won the number 1 spots in two International SEO contests where one of them was the well promoted, prestigious and highly budgeted 2007 SEO World Championship organized by Swedish SEO corporation GetUpdated. Benj Arriola bested the top SEOs all around the world as the overall champion winning a brand new European car, a Citroen C2.
Currently one of the top SEO professionals in the world, he works for BusinessOnLine, Inc. based in San Diego CA and runs his own small Internet Marketing business YDS Web Solution, Inc. with offices based in the US and the Philippines with over 500 small to medium sized business clients.

Jayvee Fernandez currently holds the position of technology channel editor for the b5media Inc, a global new media network considered to be one of the largest blog networks in the world. He is also the interactive media consultant of INQUIRER.net, the number one news portal in the Philippines serving the local and overseas Filipino community.
He has also co-hosted a number of online radio shows including the Band of Bloggers with Abraham Olandres, Hackenslash: The Podcast with Joey Alarilla, and also hosts his own show at The BuggedCast. He is also the founder of the Blog and Soul Movement, which, according to Stellify.net, is “an advocacy that aims to transform blogging into a reputable arm of Philippine media.” He is one of the three main organizers of the first Philippine Blog Awards together with Abraham Olandres and Gail de la Cruz - Villanueva.
Prior to blogging, Fernandez was contributing editor for the well-known technology magazine Mobile Philippines and also served as editorial consultant for GAME! Magazine. He was also a contributor to PC Magazine Philippines and MANUAL Magazine. He has also been a contributor to the 2BU! section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, CHALK, Family Reader, F&B World, The Village Mail, and has participated as a resource person for the Convergence technology show at Net 25. He has also served as a freelance copywriter for various companies as well as an active member in the local technology communities including MaPalad.Org and PhilMUG.
