Prashant Mehta - Vice President, Emerging Markets at
Yahoo!
Prashant currently serves as Yahoo!’s Vice President of Monetization & Sales for the Emerging Markets. In this role, Prashant oversees all the brand and search advertising organizations, as well as the sales strategy and products for Yahoo!’s Emerging Markets Group. Prior to this, he was responsible for brand advertising sales across Asia-Pacific and Latin America. In this role, Prashant helped build a strong leadership team across the region and secured Yahoo!’s lead within the online brand advertising business. |
Earlier, Prashant led Yahoo!’s Strategic Alliance team where he was responsible for developing, negotiating and structuring some of Yahoo!’s most strategic partnerships with global 500 corporations. Currently Prashant sits on Yahoo!’s internal advertising council, which sets the company's global advertising policy and helps drive the overall strategic direction of Yahoo!’s advertising business.
Prior to Yahoo!, Prashant worked at Lehman Brothers Emerging Markets Group in New York. Prashant holds a B.S. degree in Biochemistry from Rutgers University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
